As part of the Metabolic Reset, your food goals will be:
- Establishing a sustainable and flexible approach to nutrition
- Minimizing fast-digesting carbs
- Making healthier choices that include protein, fiber, and healthy fats—without restricting or counting calories
A member of your accountability coaching team will break down these goals into smaller, more actionable steps with you in your 1:1 video coaching sessions. You’ll track your progress daily in the Calibrate app.
We’ll never restrict your diet. Instead, we’ll help you rebalance it. Calibrate's approach to food is flexible and works with nearly all dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, kosher, vegan, and lactose-free (to name just a few). We strive to help you establish a sustainable and flexible approach to nutrition that focuses on minimizing fast-digesting carbs and making healthier choices that include protein, fiber, and healthy fats—without restricting or counting calories.
Importantly, the Calibrate food program is not a diet: we do not use meal replacements or offer meal plans. We don’t try to restrict your eating: instead, we help you rebalance it. For breakfast, you might have avocado and eggs or berries and yogurt. For lunch or dinner, you could prepare a grain bowl with roasted veggies and chicken, or a slow-cooker meal. You can see Calibrate Food Expert Stephanie Middleberg, RD’s favorite recipes for inspiration here.
The food program at Calibrate creates a healthy, sustainable way of eating that promotes weight loss and sets you up for long-term health. Through our nutrition curriculum classes, the support of your accountability coaching team, and the guidance of your medical team, you’ll learn how to build healthier food habits into the life you’re already living.
Calibrate is designed to be sustainable and fit into your life so you can see results long term. While we require a 3-month commitment, most members continue with Calibrate for 12 months or more. During your Metabolic Reset, you’ll meet with your accountability coach for 15 minutes every other week, and you’ll spend time completing lessons as part of the Calibrate curriculum to support you throughout your journey. You'll have a 30 minute video clinical visit with your Calibrate board-certified clinician, where you'll review your labs and discuss your treatment plan with GLP-1s (if clinically appropriate). You'll also check in asynchronously with your Calibrate Medical Team periodically -- though the team is always available to answer questions or concerns through the Medical Support Channel.
