Calibrate doctors prescribe Glucagon-like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists, GLP-1s for short—because research shows that when combined with lifestyle changes, they're the safest and most effective approach to achieve sustainable weight loss.
Your Calibrate Medical Team determines which medication is clinically appropriate for you. GLP-1 and combined GLP-1/GIP medications work on your body’s own receptors to decrease appetite, increase satiety, and regulate insulin and glucose.
We’re the first metabolic approach that addresses your unique biology—not your willpower—and the only program that guarantees 10%+ weight loss or your money back*. Translated: Calibrate actually works.
Your Metabolic Reset will be divided into four levels that encompass classes, goals, and coaching sessions—each level building upon the last.
Month 0-3
Learn and put into practice the foundations of metabolic health
In the first three months, you’ll meet with a member of your coaching team every other week and set bi-weekly goals. You’ll also read 1-2 lessons per week that will help you understand and make the changes that will set the groundwork for your metabolic reset.
Month 3-6
Build and solidify the habits that work for you
In months three through six, you’ll continue meeting with a member of your coaching team every other week. You’ll also read about 2 lessons per week, covering skills that build on the fundamentals you learned in Level 1. You’ll have more flexibility as the curriculum becomes more modular and you can choose “focus classes” in areas of your choice.
Month 6-9
Keep refining your habits to fit your day-to-day
You’ll continue meeting with a member of your coaching team every other week during months six through nine. You’ll also read about 1 to 2 lessons per week and continue to have flexibility around what pillars to work on and when. You can also still choose “focus classes” that let you double down on specific areas that could use more attention.
Month 9-12
Ensure you’re set up for lasting success
In the last three months, you’ll still meet with a member of your coaching team every other week and continue to read about 1 to 2 lessons per week. You’ll also continue to have flexibility around what pillars to work on and when. You can also still choose “focus classes” that let you double down on specific areas that could use more attention.
Doctor-prescribed medications called GLP-1s (glucagon-like peptide-1s) safely kick-start your metabolic health. Research shows that, in combination with 1:1 video coaching and lifestyle tweaks, GLP-1s are the most effective and safe long-term option for weight loss.
While your Coaching Team will be your accountability partners, your Calibrate Medical Team will make sure you’re on track medically—and seeing measurable improvements in your health. After your video visit with your Calibrate doctor, you’ll check in with the Calibrate Medical Team via the App at set milestones. Don’t forget: You’ll get comprehensive lab work at the beginning of your Metabolic Reset and again at the end. Together, we’ll assess your progress on important health indicators like blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
Member Reviews
When you join Calibrate, you’ll complete a comprehensive health intake, including blood work, that your Calibrate doctor will carefully review before customizing your treatment plan and prescribing your GLP-1 medication. GLP-1s can be safely taken with other common prescription medications—including those for blood pressure, thyroid, and diabetes—and have no contraindications with other prescription or over-the-counter medications.

Calibrate doctors prescribe GLP-1s (glucagon-like peptide-1s) because research shows that, in combination with accountability coaching, they are the most effective and safe long-term medication for weight loss. GLP-1s prescribed through the Calibrate program include semaglutide (including Ozempic®), liraglutide, and dulaglutide.
All Calibrate members will be considered for Ozempic® as clinically appropriate and insurance eligible. We will work with your commercial/employer insurance to help get it covered for $25/month or less.
GLP-1s are FDA-approved, clinically-tested, stimulant-free, and non-habit forming. Not only are they safe, but research shows that they are the most effective medications for sustainable weight loss, especially when combined with lifestyle changes like on Calibrate. GLP-1s are generally very well tolerated, with limited side effects. Many individuals don’t have any side effects at all. However, for those who do, nausea is the most common, and this typically resolves over the first few weeks. In the most recent clinical trials, at the highest dose, less than 5% of people discontinued GLP-1 medications because of side effects. With direct access to your Medical Team for help with titrating and managing side effects through secure messaging, we expect even less difficulty with side effects. Your Medical Team is available throughout the program for any questions about medication side effects or other medical concerns.
Calibrate clinicians prescribe GLP-1s because research shows that they are the safest and most effective medication for sustainable weight loss, especially when combined with lifestyle changes like Calibrate supports. Many GLP-1s are taken via an injection. While an injection may sound scary, most members actually report injections being painless, quick, and easy. (It’s just under the skin—going into your fat instead of your muscle. The needle is ultra-fine, so it isn’t like a typical shot.) GLP-1s are self-administered either daily or weekly depending on the medication. Your Calibrate clinician can walk you through how this works and can also send you a short video to help. In addition, not only are injectables the medications we prescribe more effective, but they also have fewer and safer side effects than other weight loss medications.
Your Calibrate clinician will use your medical history and insurance coverage to prescribe the best GLP-1 for you and may prescribe you an oral GLP-1 option if injections are not a good fit. The Calibrate Medical Team is available to answer your questions about GLP-1s and to address other medical concerns you might have throughout your Calibrate year.
The FDA-approved medications that are a part of the One-Year Metabolic Reset are called GLP-1s, and are clinically-tested, stimulant-free, and non-habit forming. Side effects are extremely rare, and most individuals who take a GLP-1 do not experience any. For those who do, nausea is the most common, and this typically resolves over the first few weeks of being on the medication. If you do experience any side effects, you’ll be able to reach out to your Clinical Team directly for support.
